To start playing with the Everdell Spirecrest Second Edition expansion, first, place the new Mountain board on the table. Shuffle the Discovery cards, Weather cards, and set them aside. Hand out the extra Big Critter meeples with saddles to the players as needed. When it's your turn, you can draw a Discovery card to gain new resources or take on an Expedition. As you play, keep an eye on the Weather cards as they can change the game conditions. After each game, store the cards in a card box to keep them safe and organized. Make sure to handle the meeples gently to avoid any damage. This expansion is suitable for all ages, but younger players might need some help understanding the rules at first.
